Something every pet lover and their pet(s) find comforting is spending quality time together doing an activity that stimulates both of them. Learning to listen with your heart instead of with your mind, to your pet’s behavior takes a bit of getting used to. In a cat’s world from my experience play time with their favorite toy or new toys creates a bonding and gets your pet excited that you are showing up for something they love to share with you. There are two different styles of play. The first are toys that fly in the air, like a bird would do, the second and probably the most fun for cats are the ground toys, for pouncing on. Stick to a routine time of day or night so your pet has something to look forward to do with you! Reward your cat with treats and the sounds of your voice letting them know how very smart they are, practice saying that thought in your head and sending it to them, then watch their reactions. the more you play and practice sending messages with your mind the more responsive the cat will be to speaking its thoughts to you. ***When you do receive a message from your cat please acknowledge it either with another thought, or with your voice.
